Steptember is a four-week event to raise awareness and support for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Teams from around the world will challenge themselves to take 10,000 steps a day and fundraise along the way— and nearly any activity, including biking, physical therapy and yoga, can be converted into steps. Thanks to all who participated in the 2014 Steptember Challenge! UCP raised more than $265,000 to help people with disabilities and their families. $3.4 million was raised worldwide! Watch for information from UPC in the summer of 2015 so you can sign up to participate in the next Steptember event!
Steptember (formerly World CP Challenge) culminates in the world celebration of World CP Day on October 1, 2014. This special day is an opportunity for the approximately 17 million individuals worldwide with CP to come together as a global family to promote inclusion and understanding of cerebral palsy.
